Description & Requirements

On behalf of The Department for Transport (DFT) we are looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract based in London (1 day per week)

As a Marketing Campaign Manager your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Review, update, and maintain existing online content to ensure accuracy and relevance 
  • Create new website pages and develop content aligned with educational guidance 
  • Upload and manage creative assets across digital platforms 
  • Write and distribute newsletters for campaign launches and key initiatives 
  • Coordinate, draft, and deliver internal communications materials 
  • Liaise with stakeholders to support webinars and broader communications activity 
  • Develop webinar presentations and supporting communications materials 
  • Manage the THINK! inbox, including handling publicity requests 
  • Oversee and manage social media channels and content delivery 
  • Support THINK! 0% brand partnerships and campaign activations (online and offline) 
  • Contribute to wider campaign development, including media and creative input 
  • Work collaboratively within a small team (approx. 10 people) and engage confidently with stakeholders

 

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally with a broad (“all-rounder”) skillset 
  • Strong copywriting skills with experience producing engaging digital and campaign content 
  • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms for content editing and publishing 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple content and communications tasks independently 
  • Confident stakeholder management and collaboration skills 
  • Experience in digital marketing, including website and social media management 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to “get on” with tasks autonomously 

 

Desirable:

  • Experience working within the Civil Service or public sector 
  • Experience supporting or delivering campaigns, including media and creative development 
  • Familiarity with webinar delivery, including creating decks and supporting materials 
  • Experience managing shared inboxes and handling external communications or publicity requests 
  • Knowledge of brand partnerships or campaign activations

 

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
