Description & Requirements

On behalf of The Cabinet Office, we are looking for HR & People Manager (Inside IR35) for a contract up to March 2027 based 1 day in Bristol, 1 day in London – with flex for the right candidate.

The role:

The HR and People Manager is responsible for resource management, benefits realisation related to the operating model change, and managing the associated people impacts for the Falcon Program, ensuring successful career planning and deployment strategies across Cabinet Office Digital.

 

As a HR & People Manager, your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Ensure effective management of resources across the Falcon program, including those where the program has external dependencies.
  • Drive benefits realisation stemming from the change to the operating model and the move to using integrated corporate services.
  • Conduct impact assessments of existing roles within Cabinet Office Digital and the impact of changes from the Falcon program on those roles.
  • Manage associated actions and deployment strategies to aid successful career planning across Cabinet Office Digital.
  • Manage the tracking of recruitments into the team.
  • Handle contract management through the PSR contract management provision.
  • Perform other associated tasks and actions in relation to the recruitment and management of employees/contractors within the Falcon program.
  • Liaise with PMO portfolio functions.
     
     

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in HR management, particularly in a dedicated HR Manager or HR Business Partner-type role.
  • Experience in the contract management of contingent labor/contractors.
  • Experience managing a supplier relationship where contractors are sourced through an MSP (Managed Service Provider).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment tracking and associated HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of benefits realisation, impact assessment, and change management related to operating model changes.

 

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
