On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Digital Workplace Manager - Corporate Technical Operations (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based hybrid in London. The role requires at least 2 days a week in the office attendance.

Role:
To lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Corporate IT services within a large-scale, regulated environment.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a modern digital workplace supporting internal users and a wider transformation programme. You will oversee supplier performance, manage a small support team, drive service improvements and play a key role in the transition from legacy suppliers to modern corporate IT services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365 and Digital Workplace experience who can combine technical oversight with excellent stakeholder management and service leadership.
As a Digital Workplace Manager - Corporate Technical Operations, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Own and manage day-to-day Corporate IT service operations.
- Ensure the effective delivery of services across Microsoft 365 and the wider digital workplace ecosystem.
- Lead and mentor a small team of IT support professionals, providing guidance and direction.
- Manage third-party suppliers and service providers, ensuring delivery against agreed service levels and performance targets.
- Oversee incident, problem and service management activities, including major incident coordination.
- Act as the key point of contact for corporate IT stakeholders, translating technical information into business-friendly language.
- Support ongoing transformation programmes, including the replacement of legacy suppliers and implementation of new corporate IT services.
- Identify and drive continuous service improvement opportunities to enhance user experience and operational performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams, delivery partners and business stakeholders to maximise value from Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Support procurement and onboarding of new IT services and suppliers.
- Monitor service performance, risks and operational issues, ensuring appropriate governance and reporting.
Essential:
- Proven experience managing or leading a Corporate IT, Digital Workplace or IT Service Operations function.
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and digital workplace environments.
- Experience overseeing and managing third-party IT suppliers and service providers.
- Demonstrated experience delivering service improvement initiatives within a live operational environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Desirable:
- ITIL Foundation or relevant Service Management certification.
- Microsoft 365 certifications.
- Familiarity with procurement and commissioning of IT services.
