Description & Requirements

On behalf of NCA we are looking for a Deputy Disclosure Officer (Inside IR35) for a 9 contract on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week in London. Flexibility to work in other locations may be offered.)

 

As a Deputy Disclosure Officer, your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Support a high-profile criminal investigation in line with the requirements of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA) 1996.
  • Review large volumes of evidential material following investigative briefings and direction from senior staff.
  • Assess material for relevance, sensitivity, and disclosure considerations in accordance with CPIA standards.
  • Produce accurate, CPIA-compliant descriptions and schedules of reviewed material in line with national standards and best practice.
  • Undertake duties consistent with a PIP2-accredited investigator (current or previously held).
  • Perform the functions of a Disclosure Officer or Advanced Disclosure Officer where required.
  • Support investigations involving document-heavy casework, including fraud, financial crime, sensitive investigations, and major crime.
  • Apply prior experience in managing disclosure within complex, document-intensive investigations to ensure compliance and evidential integrity.

 

Essential: 

  • SC clearance (lapsed considered)
  • PIP2 (current or historic).
  • Disclosure Officer or Advance Disclosure Officer experience
  • Experience in conducting investigations into document-heavy fraud, financial crime, sensitive investigations or major crime.
  • Experience in performing the role of Disclosure Officer in document-heavy fraud or major crime.
