Description & Requirements


On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Business Analyst Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel to Swindon

As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Gather, document and validate the business and user requirements relating to the pre award application processing needs across the research councils
  • Be responsible for refining As-is and To-be processes to support the discovery and design of the new solution, and playing back all findings to the wider team.
  • be responsible for creating and supporting the refinement of the user stories and tasks as part of the agile delivery process and be on hand to support the team in understanding the requirements throughout development
  • Support with peer review testing and sign off.


Essential:


  • Proven ability to identify and specify business and service improvement opportunities, translating both user and business needs into effective change requirements.
  • Strong experience delivering processes and solutions using Salesforce or similar low‑code platforms within agile, multi‑disciplinary digital teams.
  • Skilled in defining and documenting user‑centred requirements (including user stories) to support successful software delivery.
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders and aligning diverse perspectives to enable impactful, organisation‑wide improvements.
