On behalf of FCDO, we are looking for a Business Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based REMOTELY, Occasional travel to London.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage stakeholder relationships and build consensus while ensuring user needs are met.
- Conduct business process analysis and improvement, identifying problems and opportunities and validating improvements through testing.
- Define and manage business and user needs, including creating artefacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring traceability.
- Perform digital and data systems analysis, identifying gaps in functionality and user experience and creating system/data models.
- Adapt to delivery methodologies, ensuring work aligns with team approaches and delivers value
Essential:
- Ability to apply business modelling techniques to support analysis and decision-making.
- Experience in context, problem, and option analysis, including defining problem statements and formulating recommendations.
- Strong skills in eliciting, analysing, and validating requirements, addressing conflicts and prioritising needs.
- Knowledge of testing principles, including developing acceptance criteria and reviewing prototypes and test outcomes.
- Competence in user experience analysis, presenting findings clearly to support data-informed decisions.
