On behalf of the Bank of England, we are looking for an Organisational Design and Development Consultant Inside IR35 for a 12 month contract based Hybrid working (2 days per week in London office and remaining WFH)

Job Purpose
With demonstrable experience in delivering organisational restructuring and people transition, the successful candidate will facilitate the development of target operating model reviews and the implementation of people transition plans which will enable delivery of organisational change across the Bank. The role holder will support the delivery of organisational design and change projects that ensure every team is enabled with the right people, with the right skills, in the right role, and working together in the best way.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Organisational Design and Development Consultant would be to:
- Lead the implementation of Target Operating Model reviews, working closely with the subject matter experts and local senior management.
- Deliver workstreams spanning the end-to-end change journey - from current and future state analysis, operating model and organisational design, impact and gap analysis and transition planning.
- Collaborate with relevant experts to support the delivery of detailed design and transition planning including role profile development, job evaluation and consultation.
- Provide compelling advice for senior stakeholders on key organizational choices needed to drive efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
- Establish exceptional collaboration with HR, Communications, Technology and other stakeholders to support the workforce and communications requirements of effective change.
- Provide project management support to the delivery of organisational design and development projects to ensure on-time delivery and the effective management of risks and issues.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Essential:
- Experience in organisational design
- Experience of managing a workstream/workstreams within a project structure.
- Discretion in handling staff sensitive data
- Strong attention to detail
- Collaborative and inclusive approach
- Can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstance
Desirable:
- Business Change management experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience of planning and delivering people change activity
- Data Analysis or business analysis experience
- An understanding of the structure of a central bank.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
