On behalf of NCA, we are looking for a Project Manager x2 (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract which is a hybrid role so requires up to 2 days a week in the London office or other NCA Locations
The Project Manager leads and manages the project team.
They are responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project to ensure objectives are clearly defined and achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.
The Project Manager plays a key role in project governance and works with stakeholders to ensure agreed project outputs are delivered, enabling benefits to be realised.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Defines and leads the project to deliver agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Manages and leads the project and team on a day-to-day basis.
- Sets project controls, designs the project structure suitable for each stage, and selects appropriate delivery methodologies.
- Coordinates the development of the business case.
- Tracks delivery within the budget.
- Schedules and manages resources to deliver the project using data insights.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience as a Project manager in the delivery of complex projects within central government
- Experience across the planning aspect of a large project of work
- Extensive stakeholder engagement skills at all levels
- Strong self starter with a proactive approach to all duties
- Data Migration skillset
- Experience across ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
