On behalf of the Bank of England, we are looking for a Financial Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 Months contract based in London 2 day per week.

As a Financial Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Produce and analyse accurate financial reports, including cost, headcount, income, trends, and metrics.
- Perform scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making and prioritisation.
- Prepare and consolidate Management Information (MI), forecasts, budgets, and multi-year financial plans.
- Build and maintain MI models for Planning & Analysis and Finance Business Partner teams.
- Collaborate across Finance to optimise processes and reporting using available tools.
- Support system upgrades (Oracle-based) with a focus on MI functionality, and provide ad-hoc analysis and absence cover.
Essential:
- Deep understanding of analysis and a strong interest in working the public sector.
- Ideally a qualified Accountant or equivalent gained through experience
- High quality analytics skills including advanced excel skills
- Ability to analyse large volumes of data to identify key trends and messages
- Data visualisation techniques including building dashboard reports
- Active Sc Clearance
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
