AMS PSR

On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Risk Manager - Support (Inside IR35) for a 12 month hybrid contract based in London (potentially open to work in Durham, Glasgow or Lytham.

This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard and financial credit checks.

As a Risk Manager - Support, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Assist the risk lead with implementing, managing and developing the programme risk management strategy.
• Develop the risk reporting to allow senior leadership to view the full risk spectrum and risk aggregation.
• Document supporting processes and associated RACI to ensure consistency of service.
• Assist the risk lead in continually improve the risk service so that it attains and maintains acceptable levels of maturity.
• Manage the risk ‘deep dive’ process to ensure that risks continue to be fit for purpose and that the root causes are properly addressed.
• Assist the risk lead with implementing, maintaining and developing suitable risk governance.

Essential:

• Knowledge of how to apply risk management within a complex programme.
• Ability to analyse information and present it in a clear, concise way.
• Ability to work simultaneously on several different initiatives displaying excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work.

Desirable:

• Public Sector experience.
• As well as proficiency with MS Suite, experience with Jira and/or Power BI.
