On behalf of DfE, we are looking for a Personal Assistant (Inside IR35) for a 6 months contract based Hybrid - 3 days in London.
As a Personal Assistant, your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide high-quality executive and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage complex diaries, prioritise inboxes, and coordinate meetings and schedules.
- Act as a key liaison between legal teams and wider DfE GLD corporate functions.
- Arrange meetings, book travel and accommodation, manage team communications and shared inboxes, support planning and logistics for team activities.
- Support end to end recruitment and onboarding processes, liaise with IT, facilities, and HR to ensure smooth inductions for new joiners.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, collate reports and update business and risk plans and support the use and maintenance of the Time Recording System (TRS).
Essential:
- Previous experience in a PA, team assistant, or administrative role, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in diary management and coordinating meetings/travel.
- High level of accuracy in document handling, data entry, and reporting
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using digital tools for communication and document management
Desirable:
- Familiarity with HR and onboarding processes (desirable)
- Experience working in a government or legal environment (desirable)
