Description & Requirements
On behalf of DCMS, we are looking for a Commercial Business Partner, (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in either London or Manchester.
As a Commercial Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead on procurements of varying complexity, sometimes against tight timelines in line with Public Procurement Regulations. Interacting with the relevant business areas (or ALB’s) on progress and requirements
- Provide clear and concise commercial advice to seniors and external stakeholders, when required. Take personal responsibility; challenge and hold stakeholders to account, create an environment that acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement; help us to develop innovative commercial solutions to meet Departmental objectives and increase efficiency whilst operating with a high degree of technical competence
- Advise and undertake Contract Management activities, Assist with the implementation and embedding of supplier relationship management and Contract Management processes in the department
Essential:
- Experience in Procurement regulations
- SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
- Generalist Procurement Business Partner experience with some experience of IT procurement
- Experience of internal Procurement competitions
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of PCR 2015
Desirable:
- MCIPS / CIPS
- DDaT experience
- Experience of Atamis / Jaggear or similar e-sourcing portals
