Description & Requirements


On behalf of The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), we are looking for a Resourcing Business Partner (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based  in London or Manchester 2 days per week in the office.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the designated business areas you will support.

You’ll work closely with them to understand their current and future requirements and will use various mechanisms to recruit the best talent the market has to offer. In doing so, you’ll directly contribute to some of the most important and exciting deliverables across Government.


You will work in a fast-growing, constantly changing environment where you own the end-to-end hiring process for vacancies commissioned from your business areas



As a Resourcing Business Partner our main responsibilities will be:


  • Advising hiring managers on the best resourcing methods and supporting them to advertise their vacancies compliantly.
  • Developing and owning the delivery of the resourcing plans for your allocated business areas, identifying and mitigating any resourcing risks/shortfalls;
  • Coaching and influencing hiring managers on diversity and inclusion practices throughout the recruitment life cycle;
  • Using exceptional communication skills to develop relationships and a sense of credibility quickly with stakeholders.



Essential:


  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality service, driving continuous improvement and process efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence decision-making.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the bigger picture and contribute to wider workforce and resourcing plans.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, including extracting, manipulating and interpreting data to support evidence-based decision-making.



Desirable:


  • Previous experience in a recruitment or HR role.
  • Experience using Oleeo
