Description & Requirements

On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Data Planning & Reporting Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 4 Month contract based Hybrid in London, Birmingham or Bristol.

As a Data Planning & Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Work closely with the Head of Data & Reporting, sharing information, providing advice and support around technical choices, implementation approach, resourcing, and identifying skills gaps and key dependencies within the Data team.
  • Deliver support to drive integrated interaction between systems and data to ensure more focused decisions can be made at high level in relation to regeneration and better housing solutions.
  • Maintain relationships, reconciling priorities and agreeing on common action with the Head of Data & Reporting.
  • Highlight and analyse on data problems arising from specific work programmes or the implementation of proposed changes from a Data perspective and make balanced recommendations.
  • Identify key priorities and produce effective plans to address them.
  • Support the Data analytical outputs across the wide-reaching projects across the Evolve program.
  • Collaborate with other Data team members to drive output.
  • Work closely with the PMO team and give support from a reporting need.
  • Support with looking at data workflows and any other requests directed by the Head of Data & Reporting.


Essential:

  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools, and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Strong Experience in Excel and other Microsoft toolsets for managing data and reporting.
  • Proven experience in using Power BI for developing KPIs and performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting project or change management environments.
  • Skills in statistical reporting and KPI analysis
  • Experience in supporting colleagues and stakeholders through changes or transitions in processes or goals.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle, with experience analysing and transforming legacy data.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience (both internal & external).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare project documentation and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to gather and articulate data from diverse sources, such as project artifacts.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis.


Desirable:

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Workday.
  • Familiarity with Change & System Transformation initiatives.
  • Background / Experience in data migration projects particularly in HR, Finance etc.
  • A relevant Project Management or Change Management qualification.
