Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Data Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract (Potential Extension) based Remote (Occasional travel to Swindon or London).


Job Purpose:

Working within the Single Customer View project team, you’ll support Innovate UK Business Growth by improving data quality, streamlining Salesforce CRM structures, improving guidance and supporting the reporting and data insight needs of the team. You’ll work closely with the Senior Data Analyst and Delivery Operations Lead to ensure data is accurate, consistent and ready for use.


As a Data Analyst your main responsibilities will be:

  • Resolve data quality issues, including deduplication, correction of inaccurate data and consolidation of records.
  • Support improvements to the Salesforce CRM interface, including reorganising Objects, removing unused fields and strengthening validation rules.
  • Improve data collection processes, guidance and monitoring to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the creation of new reporting templates, processes and requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the beneficiary triage process.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on triage data and work with the Senior Data Analyst to resolve issues.


Essential:

  • Strong IT literacy with experience in data administration (collecting, entering, managing, reconciling and distributing data).
  • Ability to organise and analyse large datasets.
  • Familiarity with database/information systems, particularly Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, adapting flexibly to rapidly changing demands and complex situations.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment under time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex issues in simple, non-technical terms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word).


Desirable:

  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Recognised qualification in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
