Description & Requirements

On behalf of FCDO, we are looking for a Business Case & Procurement Manager (Inside IR35) until end of March 2026 contract, based Hybrid - 3 days in London.

As a Business Case & Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


  • Experience with managing Business Cases and delivering end-to-end complex high-value procurements within UK Government under Public Sector regulations.
  • Develop and manage the Procurement Plan, develop Procurement strategy, write Outline Business Case (OBC), obtain governance approvals on OBC (including Cabinet Office and HMT).
  • Manage communications and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
  • Engage with broad range or users and stakeholders across organisation to develop user-requirements and specifications.
  • Engage with markets and develop the ITT specification requirements.


Essential:


  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.  Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
  • Experience with managing Business Cases and delivering end-to-end complex high-value procurements within UK Government under Public Sector regulations.


Desirable:


  • Knowledge/experience of Travel or Logistics & Warehouse industry
