On behalf of Crown Commercial Services (CCS), we are looking for an Internal Engagement Content Creator (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based remotely (as travel will be required between sites to obtain content on a regular basis covered by expenses) with attendance in Liverpool, Newport, Norwich, or Birmingham for meetings as and when required.

As an Internal Engagement Content Creator your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop a clear video strategy for CCS, considering internal and external audiences and ensuring that it aligns with and supports the delivery of the CCS business plan
- Lead on the implementation of our video strategy
- Plan, film/direct and edit video
- Develop and deliver video to support campaigns based on audience insight, using effective communication channels to engage audiences and maximise reach
- Write and develop content that engages and informs a target audience, using effective story-telling techniques and insight to maximise the impact
- Regularly assess the impact of video communication, with a focus on deliverable outcomes while considering resources and budgets and identifying risks and mitigating actions
- Use data and insights gained from evaluation of activity in order to refine future video communication activities
Essential:
- Experience developing comprehensive video strategies aligned with organisational objectives
- Experience within an communication function within the public sector
- A track-record of collaborating with colleagues to deliver video communication within a deadline;
- An understanding of how to influence key stakeholders, being comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and providing expert advice and challenge.
- Proven experience in filming, directing and editing video content and proficiency with professional video equipment and industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Experience creating videos for multiple platforms and channels (e.g., social media, website, intranet, presentations)
- The ability to produce high-quality video content for diverse audiences using different video formats (interviews, explainers, campaigns, case studies, etc.)
- Understanding of lighting, sound recording, and other technical aspects of video production
- Ability to translate complex information into engaging visual content
- Knowledge of video metrics and analytics to measure success and impact
- Experience managing video production schedules and workflows
- Understanding of accessibility requirements for government video content
