Description & Requirements



On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Property Operations Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in the Lincoln area with the expectation of expensed travel to sites.


The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.


As a Property Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Act as the client’s first point of contact within a dedicated number of properties
  • Engage through site visits, regular communication and running or attending client engagement meetings as appropriate
  • Develop strong relationships with FM provider and suppliers
  • Engage with the supply chain, to ensure that contracts provide satisfactory delivery and to drive value for money in accordance with business targets
  • Conduct weekly interfaces with suppliers to escalate issues and scrutinise performance
  • Follow the schedule of visits for each asset (to be agreed with APOM) to discuss performance, issues and update on work orders



Essential:


  • Experience in property and facilities management disciplines and be able to demonstrate compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements in previous roles
  • The ability to build customer relationships and liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience in the delivery of maintenance projects
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • CTC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active CTC clearance.
