On behalf of The Department for Transport (DFT) we are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based remotely (attendance in Leeds, Birmingham and Swansea if/when required)

The role:
The Capability and Compliance Team within The Department for Transport (DfT) Resourcing Group supports hiring managers across the central department (DfTc) and the executive agencies (DVLA, DVSA, VCA, MCA, ATE). We ensure that they have the skills they need to run compliant and effective recruitment campaigns that will ensure they are recruiting the right people, in the right place, at the right time, to deliver the Department’s business and strategic agenda.
As an EO in this team, you will support hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. You will ensure that business areas remain compliant with the Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles, employment law, and other departmental policies and procedures.
As a Recruitment Coordinator your main responsibilities will be:
- Processing reserve list requests – this involves running the redeployment search, checking requests to ensure they are compliant, and processing requests
- Publishing DfTc Expressions of Interest and delivering training to new starters on the process
- Inbox management
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that they know what to do by providing relevant guidance and training material
- Ensure that hiring managers remain compliant throughout the recruitment process, following the Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles, employment law, and other departmental policies and procedures
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and business units, ensuring that you provide an excellent service
- Working in a team and ensuring that work is evenly distributed, supporting your colleagues as required

- Experience of working within a high-pressured and fast-paced team with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity, whilst maintaining a high-quality service level to stakeholders
- Experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders
- Strong IT skills
