On behalf of Defra, we are currently creating a pipeline for an upcoming opportunity for a Technology Commercial Lead Inside IR35 for a 6 month hybrid contract, with expectation of 3 working days in the office in either Bristol, Peterborough, Birmingham or London.

As a Technology Commercial Lead, your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring the effective delivery of medium to high-value projects, procurements, and contract/supplier management within a market-facing category team.
- Developing commercial strategies aligned to the Category Plan, contributing to success of the business. Planning and managing all market engagement for relevant sub-category
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with suppliers to deliver exceptional performance in cost, service, and quality.
Essential:
- Highly organised with the ability to work at speed in a fast paced environment
- You will have experience of Technology Sourcing/Commercial activity
- Self motivated and hold the ability to work as part of a team and independently
Desirable:
- Ideally you will be CIPS qualified
