Description & Requirements

On behalf of DHSC (Department of Health and Social Care), we are looking for a System Implementation Lead (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based hybrid ( 3 days a week in office) in either London or Leeds.


This role will be responsible for leading a defined portfolio of work, acting as the key point of contact between business stakeholders, transformation teams and the Orgvue platform provider. The successful candidate will play a critical role in training and coaching other team members on utilising the software to build organisation structures.


As a System Implementation Lead, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Lead the implementation and adoption of the Orgvue platform across assigned transformation workstreams.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Orgvue, providing guidance and best practice to stakeholders and programme teams.
  • Configure, maintain, and support Orgvue environments and organisational modelling activities.
  • Work closely with transformation, organisational design, and workforce planning teams to support future-state organisation design.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and user support to colleagues and business users.
  • Develop user capability and ensure effective platform adoption across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Liaise directly with the Orgvue software provider to resolve issues, manage queries, and maximise platform functionality.
  • Support data analysis, scenario modelling, organisational planning, and reporting activities.
  • Manage project actions, task tracking, risks, dependencies, and implementation milestones.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across DHSC and NHS England.
  • Produce reports, presentations, trackers, and management information using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Support change management and transformation activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Ensure the effective handling of sensitive and confidential workforce data.



Essential:


  • Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Orgvue.
  • Experience training users and promoting platform adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical system and organisational solutions.
  • Experience managing project activities, actions, risks, and implementation deliverables.


Desirable:


  • Experience engaging with software vendors and third-party implementation partners.
  • Public Sector experience
