On behalf of NHSBT , we are looking for a Stakeholder Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid with travel 1 day every 2 weeks the nearest NHS BT base ( Bristol, Plymouth, Southampton, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Oxford )
The Stakeholder Manager will join the Donor and Session Programme (DASP), a critical digitally-led transformation programme to truly transform how donors engage with NHSBT to ensure equitable access, enhanced safety, and resilient supply chains for lifesaving blood and plasma products. This is a key role for the programme and you will be joining us at inception stage, enabling you to have full impact on delivery.
As a Stakeholder Manager , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the development and delivery of overarching programme engagement and communication strategies and plan, monitoring and reporting on progress and iterating to ensure effectiveness.
- Report to the Head of Programme Delivery, working as part of the Programme Transformation and Integration workstream.
- Collaborate as part of the Programme Leadership Team and support the work of the Transformation and Integration, Technical Implementation and Business Change Teams.
- Integrate and align strategies and plans with business change ADKAR assessments, sponsor plans, coalition mapping and stakeholder adoption.
- Work with the NHSBT Communications Team to align communication approaches and co-ordinate plans and delivery.
- Define communications and engagement delivery and management methods, processes, tools and templates.
- Develop, maintain and regularly update a library of communication and engagement collateral, and ensure consistent and effective use by the programme.
- Lead comprehensive stakeholder identification analysis using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Essential:
- Significant experience in a stakeholder management role within complex organisational environments, preferably across large-scale digital transformation or change programmes
- Strong understanding and experience of integrating stakeholder engagement within a structured change management framework, ideally Prosci ADKAR or similar
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with senior leaders and influence decision‑making without formal authority.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering clear, compelling and impactful communications strategies and plans across multi teams and stakeholders
Desirable:
- Experience working within a healthcare setting or other highly regulated environment
- Programme Management certification (e.g. MSP / PRINCE / AGILE)
