Description & Requirements


On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Inside IR35 for a contract ending on 31st of March 2026 based REMOTELY with travel as required to either London or Birmingham

As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints
  • Day-to-day management and leadership of the project and the project team. Providing effective leadership and management controls, and setting project controls. Designing the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage/programme increment, and implementing agreed delivery methodologies
  • Develop and draft initiation and investment justification artefacts and documentation, with input from specialists as necessary
  • Identify skills required; and deploying and developing resources. May also be required to manage a medium-sized blended (both internal and external colleagues) team
  • Ensure a proportionate benefits profile and plan is established, developed, and maintained appropriately in line with the stage of the project lifecycle, and benefits owners from the business are identified and agreed with the programme SRO, in line with the agreed business case benefits and outcomes


Essential:

  • Proven track record of leading change projects in the public sector
  • Experience in benefits managements, risk and issues , governance and assurance
  • Good understanding of digital change and policy
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
  • APM / Prince 2 or equivalent


Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
