On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based in London, Lytham, Durham or Glasgow (2 days per week on site).

This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard and financial credit checks.
As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and deliver a discovery project from initiation through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, managing dependencies, resources, risks, and critical delivery milestones to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor project progress, maintain accurate documentation, and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and blockers.
- Manage third-party suppliers and project budgets, ensuring delivery meets agreed objectives while maximising value for money.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear and regular updates on project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across the business to secure engagement, gather required inputs, and drive timely decision-making and approvals.
Essential:
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Strong project delivery management experience, ideally within the government, regulatory, or financial service sector.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards using agile methodologies.
- Experience of managing consultancy and legal services contracts
- Experience of managing suppliers and budgets, with delivery to time/cost/quality
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
