The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has been set up to provide health security for the nation by protecting from infectious disease and external hazards. It will need to take action like no other organisation previously in order to mitigate threats to health before they materialise. UKHSA will be a trusted source of advice to government and to the public.
On behalf of The UK Health Security Agency, we are looking for a Project Manager for a contract ending on 31st of March with possibility to be extended, based Hybrid 2-3 days a week in London
As a Project Manager , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Be responsible for managing specific projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with programme objectives.
- Plan, manage, and deliver assigned projects within the organisational change programme
- Develop project documentation including plans, risk logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate resources and activities across departments to ensure successful delivery.
- Support stakeholder engagement and communication, including updates to senior leaders.
Essential:
- Experience managing projects in a complex organisational environment
- Experience in people change or HR in public sector
- Experience in working with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Desirable:
- Experience with change management methodologies and tools (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter) and professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent
