Description & Requirements


On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Programme Manager Inside IR35 for a 7 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel (1-2 days a month) to Bristol, London, Birmingham or Newcastle

Following the publication of the government’s Levelling Up White Paper, Homes England has also been tasked with a core role in spearheading regeneration, partnering with places to reduce economic disparity, empower local leaders and create equal opportunities across the country to ensure communities reach their full potential.


As a Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver a number of change projects within a multi-year change programme
  • Be accountable for cascading the programme vision and translating it into delivery objectives for the programme team.
  • Be accountable for and lead the development of the business case, ensuring clearance has been sought from project leads and the relevant business Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), as well as gaining business case approval through the required governance framework
  • Work collaboratively with the programme SRO to jointly identify and manage stakeholder relationships. The post holder will also highlight any needs for senior level support
  • Be accountable for securing the required resources for the programme, and directing programme plans, schedules, resource plans and estimates


Essential:

  • Extensive experience driving complex change across commercial, digital, policy, ways of working and TOM – not just one area
  • P3M credibility ( experience and qualifications)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement


Desirable:

  • Public sector experience
