AMS PSR

On behalf of Government Legal Department, we are looking for an Organisation Design and Development Consultant - (Inside IR35) for a 12-month contract working on a hybrid basis and with flexible attendance in one of the following offices: London, Croydon, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol

As a Organisation Design and Development Consultant - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:

• Provide Organisation Design expertise and deliver impactful OD interventions
• Build OD capability across GLD HR and wider teams
• Partner with DG, Directors, and SLT to deliver business change and transformation
• Advise on complex employee relations issues beyond Civil Service HR Casework remit
• Collaborate on strategic workforce planning and resourcing

Assignment Background: 

• Opportunity to shape and define the role
• Expertise in transformation work
• Lead Legal Ops project across the organisation
• Provide OD (Organisation Development) and D (Design) expertise
• Involvement in wider change and transformation initiatives
• Act as point of contact for HR colleagues
• Focus on main project plus ad hoc smaller changes
• Cover for HR Business Partner on long-term sick leave
• Desired: OD&D specialist with HR Business Partner background
• Primary focus: OD and D work

Person Specification

• Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity
• Experience in OD&D and/or change management roles
• HR Business Partner or Assistant HRBP experience
• Understanding of OD&D practice in large organisations
• Legal sector experience desirable

Essential

• Organisation Design and Development expertise

Desirable: 

• Public sector or Legal Sector experience
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (experience preferred over qualifications)
