On behalf of Government Legal Department, we are looking for an Organisation Design and Development Consultant - (Inside IR35) for a 12-month contract working on a hybrid basis and with flexible attendance in one of the following offices: London, Croydon, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol
As a Organisation Design and Development Consultant - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide Organisation Design expertise and deliver impactful OD interventions
- Build OD capability across GLD HR and wider teams
- Partner with DG, Directors, and SLT to deliver business change and transformation
- Advise on complex employee relations issues beyond Civil Service HR Casework remit
- Collaborate on strategic workforce planning and resourcing
Assignment Background:
- Opportunity to shape and define the role
- Expertise in transformation work
- Lead Legal Ops project across the organisation
- Provide OD (Organisation Development) and D (Design) expertise
- Involvement in wider change and transformation initiatives
- Act as point of contact for HR colleagues
- Focus on main project plus ad hoc smaller changes
- Cover for HR Business Partner on long-term sick leave
- Desired: OD&D specialist with HR Business Partner background
- Primary focus: OD and D work
Person Specification
- Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity
- Experience in OD&D and/or change management roles
- HR Business Partner or Assistant HRBP experience
- Understanding of OD&D practice in large organisations
- Legal sector experience desirable
Essential
- Organisation Design and Development expertise
Desirable:
- Public sector or Legal Sector experience
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (experience preferred over qualifications)
