Description & Requirements


On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Full Stack Python Developer (Inside IR35) for a 9 Month contract based Remotely.


The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. The Cabinet Office is also the corporate headquarters for the government, in partnership with HM Treasury, and takes the lead in certain critical policy areas. As a Full Stack Python Developer, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To work with a Product Manager, User Researcher and Behavioural Scientist to co-design and test updates to the product interface.
  • Deliver the technical maintenance and development iteration.
  • Help to maintain and iterate a web API using FastAPI and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Work across the team to ensure informed decisions are made on the application design and testing approaches.
  • Contribute to technical decision making alongside colleagues, including Generative AI solutions around RAG and prompt engineering.
  • Help to design and develop incoming features around sentiment analysis, data ingestion and synthetic audience creation.


Essential:

  • Previous experience working with GenAI products
  • Strong experience within Python


Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
