AMS PSR

On behalf of client, we are looking for a Commercial Lead (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in London

As a Commercial Lead , your main responsibilities will be:

• Support delivery of key Networks, Space, and Telecoms initiatives during a busy period, working closely with suppliers and customers.
• Contribute to strategy and business case development, including commercial analysis and benefits realization.
• Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive customer engagement and support growth initiatives through research, analysis, and development of tools and resources.
• Assist with pre-market engagement sessions and provide general commercial support as needed.

Essential:

• Proven leadership experience, guiding strategic and operational projects and inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver complex outcomes.
• Strong background in developing public sector business cases aligned with HMT guidance
• Excellent communicator with strong collaboration and influencing skills, able to manage resistance and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Deep commercial expertise with a track record of delivering large-scale, complex procurements and strategies in a technology environment
• Skilled at mentoring and coaching, helping teams succeed without direct line management authority.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture planning and hands-on operational tasks.
• Adaptable, resilient under pressure, and confident in making decisions when faced with conflicting priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience of designing and/or delivering procurement strategies for the Networks category, such as end user devices and other technology hardware products.
• Wider Technical Category experience: Experience from one or more of the other areas within the Technical Category Group (Cloud, Software, Hardware, Services
