AMS PSR

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for x6 Caseworkers (Inside IR35) for a hybrid contract that runs up until 31/3/27 based London, with an expectation of 1-3 days per week on site, as required for business needs.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. 

As a Caseworker, your main responsibilities will be:

• Assess and interrogate review requests to determine the correct course of action.
• Keep precise, well‑evidenced records to fully support all decisions made.
• Engage with applicants to gather critical information and evidence that may influence case outcomes

Essential:

• Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex information from multiple sources with precision
• Confident decision‑maker, able to apply government policy accurately and consistently
• Strong adherence to strict policies, procedures and compliance standards.
• Clear and persuasive communicator, capable of justifying decisions based on policy and evidence.
• Resilient and highly organised, thriving under tight deadlines in fast‑paced, sensitive environments.
• Proven casework experience with sound judgement and structured problem‑solving capability.
• Effective stakeholder manager, maintaining strong relationships across internal and external partners
• Solid understanding of data protection requirements and governance protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong command of English.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
• Able to handle exposure to difficult or graphic material with professionalism and emotional resilience.
• Empathetic approach when engaging with applicants and sensitive cases

Desirable:

• Home Office/Police/Immigration background
• Experience dealing with complex cases
