Description & Requirements


On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Business Resilience Lead Inside IR35  for a 9 months contract based Hybrid 2 days a week in either London, Lytham, Durham or Glasgow

This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard and financial credit checks.


As a Business Resilience Lead, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Lead a comprehensive current-state assessment of NS&I’s business continuity and supply chain resilience capability
  • Assess NS&I’s ability to manage and assure a multi-supplier ecosystem
  • Identify capability gaps across governance, roles, processes, technology and assurance mechanisms
  • Identify missing or underdeveloped functions (eg. Operational contract management, supplier assurance)
  • Define required roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to strengthen resilience capability
  • Design and document an effective operating model aligned to Civil Service best practice, Government frameworks and industry standards
  • Develop scenario-based testing frameworks to assess operating model and resilience effectiveness under stress conditions


Essential:

  • Demonstrable expertise in Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience and Supply Chain Resilience including experience in leading business continuity or operational resilience programmes in complex environments
  • Experience conducting and producing evidence-based capability gap analyses within complex environments
  • Experience and strong understanding of multi-supplier ecosystem governance and commercial operating models
  • Experience designing and facilitating scenario-based testing and tabletop exercises including executive-level crisis simulations

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
