On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 months contract based Hybrid - 3 days in either Manchester, Croydon, London, Liverpool or Durham.

As a Commercial Contract Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
The primary role is to support DDaT Colleagues with commercial and contractual support exiting two legacy IT contracts.
- Each contract will require prior knowledge of complex contract exit to understand and support DDaT colleagues with appropriate support and advice.
- Provide commercial to minimise exit related cost and risk.
- Ensure compliance with the Public Service Regulations 2015.
Essential:
- SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
- Knowledge, skill and experience for exiting complex IT contracts.
- An expert in managing major and complex IT contracts ensuring obligations are managed and the best value for money is obtained.
- Full understanding of public sector procurement, and EU Regulations.
Desirable:
- Understanding of the government's digital and technology transformation agenda and why the government is changing the way it does digital and technology projects.
- Experience in managing high value, technical ICT procurements.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
