Description & Requirements


On behalf of Defra, we are looking for a Business Analyst Inside IR35 for an 8 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel to the closest DEFRA hub

As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Identify and analyse project requirements to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand system operations and align with project objectives.
  • Assess the consequences of proposed changes and estimate necessary modifications
  • Compare current and target states to identify gaps and develop transition requirements
  • Translate business needs into solutions, ensuring alignment with project timelines.


Essential:

  • Proven track record in delivering Business Analysis services across various complex public sector projects
  • Experience in engaging with a range of stakeholder groups
  • Experienced in requirements gathering, data analysis, business process modelling, documentation, communication, and creating user stories.
  • Public sector experience


Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
