On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Part Time Business Administrator - (Inside IR35) for a 9-month contract working on a hybrid part time basis and with an expectation of 3 days attendance in the Hereford office.

The Part Time Business Administrator - (Inside IR35) will work to the (HEO Business Manager) and will be primarily focused on providing business management services to the organisation, which encompasses the diverse, support and bespoke tasking for finance, commercial Infrastructure, Security, Health, Safety and Environmental Protection (HS&EP) and Human Resources. This role is responsible for delivering administrative support across business operations, activities and tasks as instructed. Supporting and enabling the smooth delivery of the business operations function within the (HLB).
This is an operational delivery role that provides interesting and challenging work, along with developmental opportunities.
The role involves supporting Business Management Team and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Teams and responsibilities can vary in size. The role of Business Management Assistant aims to provide support in the following areas:
The Part Time Business Administrator - (Inside IR35) will be based within the BLB but will provide support to the Business Managers where required/requested across the following areas:
- Business Management Hub Services – Supporting the development and provision of a quality services to the organisation, delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
- Audit and Assurance- Upholding and championing the organisation internal controls, ensuring compliance throughout the HLB.
- Performance and Planning
- Reporting
- Providing support as well as maintaining the routeways for advice and guidance.
PLEASE NOTE:
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance
