On behalf of UK Space Agency, we are looking for a HR Ops Reporting Officer (Inside IR35) for a 13 months contract based in Harwell, Cardiff, Leicester or Edinburgh. Hybrid working with office attendance 2 days per week
The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) brings together the relevant parts of the former Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the former Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

As a HR Ops Reporting Officer your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage HR Operations Data Returns: Oversee data submissions from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop MI & People Metrics: Lead the creation of meaningful HR metrics in collaboration with the Portfolio Office and data teams, maintaining confidentiality and data protection.
- Represent HR in ERP Programme: Act as UKSA’s HR Data lead in Future Shared Service/ERP (Matrix) workshops, ensuring HR data needs are met across DSIT and UK SBS.
- Maintain & Analyse HR Dashboards: Continuously update dashboards, interpret data insights, and recommend actions based on HR MI.
- Support People Survey Analysis: Collaborate with HR colleagues to analyse annual survey results and identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver Strategic HR Insights: Work with HR leadership to provide actionable MI, support workforce planning, and maintain oversight of the HR People Plan.
Essential:
- Extracting information from a variety of platforms, analysing and presenting to a variety of audiences
- Data accuracy and the ability to identify errors/anomalies
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
- Public sector experience
- Oracle experience
