Description & Requirements

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 6 Months contract based in Glasgow 3 days per week

Provide high-quality financial support and analysis across various locations. This role will support budget holders, ensure financial compliance, and contribute to effective decision-making through accurate reporting and forecasting.


As a Finance Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be:


Provide financial support and analysis to business units.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting.

Conduct financial analysis and identify risks and opportunities.

Ensure compliance with financial controls and governance.

Support investment appraisals and cost modelling.


Essential: 


Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).

Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Good understanding of financial risk and control.

Experience with Oracle Projects and Power BI.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable:


Understanding of project management principles and experience of managing complex projects

Extensive experience of Oracle based systems
