On behalf of The Civil Aviation Authority , we are looking for a HR Advisor (Inside IR35) for a 4 month hybrid contract based in Gatwick 2 days per week and the remainder is working from home.
Please note on the occasion there maybe a request to travel into the Canary Wharf branch as and when required.
As a HR Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide coaching and support to people managers with complex employee cases such as performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance matters. This includes leading on formal procedures liaising with the People Services Manager where specialist advice is required.
- Coach and mentor colleagues in the People Services Advisor Team supporting with complex queries or cases where needed
- Provide constructive challenge and support to people managers on matters relating to job evaluation, pay and benchmarking
Essential:
- Proven experience in a HR generalist or ER role with a track record of building trusted working relationships with people managers and leaders at all levels
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law with experience of applying this to complex ER cases; takes a commercial approach with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Experience in job evaluation
- CIPD Level 5
Desirable:
- Experience in SAP SuccessFactors
