On behalf of the MoD, we are looking for X6 Operations Managers for a 12 month contract. This is a fulltime on-site role - Clyde.

Job Purpose:
Support is needed within the Supply Operations Team at Clyde to provide support for Submarine maintenance periods, the needed stores support and proactive lookahead to prevent stores related delays. Additional support will enable the Team to provide the full range of services to all platforms including interrogation of LOG Inventory systems to determine stock availability and demand progression.
This is a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic position where your leadership, stakeholder relationship, and decision-making skills will be put to the test. You'll thrive on collaboration, working closely with other SDA/DE&S Delivery teams to support your customers effectively.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As an Operations Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Assist in monitoring the budgetary expenditure.
- Use information technology systems, communications and equipment, to assist in the monitoring of the daily business operation and performance.
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the delivery of In-service support within the Supply Operations Team
- Assist in monitoring the budgetary expenditure
- Supporting the monitoring, analysing and interpretation of data to identify trends, risks, and issues.
- Operations, according to customer requirements, delivery plans and support solutions – with a focus on supporting time critical provision of materials.
- Contributing to the management of risks, issues, and dependencies, communicating changes with stakeholders.
You'll have:
- Experience of stakeholder management and delivering customer service
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Demonstrable ability to review and interpret data
- A detail-oriented individual capable of understanding and anticipating the systems required for the effective operation of the organisation.
