On behalf of DATS Transport Scotland, we are looking for a Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based remotely which does Include up to 2 days a week in the Glasgow office but there could be some flexibility to this
ITS – intelligence Transport Systems – discipline within engineering field - TS – roadside tech.
As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing the traffic system contract – technical IT services ensuring its secure
- Ensuring software is up to date & working as it should
- Project management skillset
- Stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Performance, service level agreements, developing the system as agreed
- Client manager role – over seeing how contractors/supply chain are delivering
- Assess future system & improvements/contributions/software solutions
- Contract management/intelligence and planning across system development.
Essential Skills
- Direct experience within ITS – traffic management systems, technology/software/hardware on how they work.
- General project management experience
- Managing types of services/technology with project management
- Stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Experience of supply chain management
Technology systems
- Bespoke TS system
- Good handle on the way services are moving towards Cloud – contemporary understanding.
- Traffic management systems towards road operations
