On behalf of the Met Office, we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Inside IR35) for a 9 Months contract based Hybrid / in Exeter.
As a Full Stack Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- This post is in the Argon Squad within Hazards and Resilience. The Argon Squad delivers effective, secure technical solutions to facilitate the production and provision of valuable information for the UK Resilience Community.
- You will be expected to undertake a range of activities supporting the objectives of the team and wider area.
Essential:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular for designing responsive, user-friendly interfaces and seamless web applications.
- Skilled in AWS Serverless architecture, leveraging services such as Lambda and DynamoDB, and adept at infrastructure setup using CDK/Terraform.
- Experienced in Agile workflows, GDS frameworks, and using Jira and GitHub for project tracking, version control, and team collaboration.
- Proficient in implementing automated testing frameworks like Cypress for ensuring quality, reliability, and regression coverage.
- Ability to build and integrate scalable applications across front-end, back-end, and cloud environments, emphasizing secure and efficient code practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, promoting continuous delivery, deployment, and streamlined development processes.
