On behalf of HM Land Registry, we are looking for a Project Coordination Specialist (Finance) Inside IR35 for a 11 months contract based Hybrid working (3 days per week in the Croydon office and remaining WFH)

This role will work alongside the systems specialists and Finance teams, to facilitate
the understanding, implementation and embedding of improved ways of working
with Fusion Finance modules within the relevant Finance teams.
The role will coordinate team discussions to develop optimised procedures and controls and produce comprehensive documentation, as part of integrating the improvements across the Finance teams. This may also include training activities.
As a Project Coordination Specialist (Finance) your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage the collaboration between finance and systems teams to improve their understanding of available functionality and good practice within relevant Fusion modules and what may potentially be implemented to optimise processes and controls.
- Work with Finance colleagues to review their current processes alongside agreed ways of working and improvements, in order to complete gap analysis and identify what work is required to upskill people and update documentation.
- Documentation includes operating procedures, policies, process maps, user guidance and training material.
- Liaise with teams to capture new/update existing process mapping documentation and training material, for any changes and improvements made to finance processes using the relevant Fusion modules.
- Update operating procedures and guidance to reflect improvements in processes and controls accordingly.
- Provide support in planning for the implementation of improvements and building knowledge in teams, prioritising around team availability and ensuring all supporting information is in place for all users.
- Produce and agree a policy that specifies the location of Finance documentation, with clarity over ownership and processes for monitoring its review and maintenance in future to ensure quality is maintained.
- Implement mechanisms that ensure all published data, including intranet information and training material, is regularly reviewed and updated as necessary, with ownership and review responsibilities established within individual teams.
- Update the overarching framework for each Fusion module that clarifies user access and reporting requirements for each role, and sets out the inputs, controls, performance measures and the relationships and handoffs between other modules in use in Finance.
- Assist with managing and delivering training.
- This role will produce guidance material for Finance users and others in the business and assist with managing and delivering training to implement improvements.
Essential:
- An understanding of accounting and financial terminology and processes
- Use of ERP financial systems
- A variety of finance experience, over an extended period of time
- Experience of documenting standard operating procedures, business processes and process maps with users
- Producing and managing a plan of work and coordinating with users to manage improvements and produce high-quality documentation
- Highly organised and facilitate team collaboration
- Use of MS Office software (in particular Word and Excel)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Fusion Financials and Fusion Projects
- Use of MS Visio process mapping software
- Producing guidance and training material, and managing and delivering training
- Identifying pain points and improvements in business processes
