AMS PSR

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an ILS Manager (Inside IR35) for an 8 Month contract based in Corsham.

As an ILS Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Develop and maintain the ILS strategy and plans, such as the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of the system through the CADMID cycle, ensuring supportability is considered at every stage of the lifecycle.
• Conduct or oversee LSA to identify and optimise support requirements.
• Ensure that the system is designed for maintainability, reliability, and supportability.
• Develop strategies to mitigate obsolescence issues, such as identifying alternative components or redesigning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.

Essential:

• Personal computer required for virtual desktop working while MOD computer is ordered.
• Understanding of ILS fundamentals.
• Previous involvement in artefact development & analysis i.e. Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc.
• Previous experience in the creation / development of Defence Support Solution, preferably experienced in multiple projects OR Previous experience working on or leading a Network based capability or complex engineering programmes with multiple stakeholders. 
• Familiar with all ILS Tendering activities and the creation, contribution, updates to all ILS specific competition deliverables. 
• SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
