AMS PSR

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an Assurance Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 Month contract based in Corsham (3 days per week on site).

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. 

As an Assurance Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Manages and leads the project(s) and collaborates with the MOD and prime Contractor teams on a day-to-day basis. Sets project controls, assures the design and the project structure suitable for each stage, and selects appropriate delivery methodologies.
• Identifies key stakeholders and develops effective relationships.
• Risk and Issue Management- Identifies and monitors project risks and issues, develops mitigating actions, and escalates as needed.
• Supports or establishes appropriate project assurance measures.

Essential:

• Extensive experience in project management
• Experience of managing large scale projects
• Able to hit the ground running
• Experience in Assurance
• APM qualification or Equivalent

Desirable:

• MOD experience
• Some technical/ engineering knowledge ideally in SATCOM.
