AMS PSR

On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Senior Communications Manager for a contract up to December 2026 (possible extension) on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week in Cambridge)

The Cambridge Growth Company (CGC), a subsidiary of Homes England, exists to drive forward the government’s ambitions to maximise Greater Cambridge’s full economic potential to deliver nationally significant growth. Working with our sponsor department, MHCLG, we collaborate with central government departments and other agencies, with our Advisory Council comprising local authority leaders, the CPCA Mayor and senior university and industry representatives; and with landowners and developers to remove barriers to sustainable growth,  targeting interventions and focusing investment to address the stressed water and nature systems, improve infrastructure, tackle the unaffordability of homes and ease congestion on the roads.

As a Senior Communications Manager your main responsibilities will be: 

• Write, edit, and commission high-quality content (reports, articles, case studies, blogs) 
• Create multimedia content (infographics, videos) to explain technical topics 
• Manage and update website content using a CMS 
• Plan, schedule, and manage social media content and engagement 
• Track performance metrics and produce communications reports 
• Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and tone 
• Prepare briefing materials for meetings and events 
• Support presentations and talking points for senior leadership 
• Collaborate with colleagues to communicate work effectively 
• Develop communication toolkits, templates, and training 
• Support CRM practices with operational teams 
• Liaise with external partners and suppliers
