On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for an Events Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 4,5 months contract based Hybrid 2-3 days a week in Cambridge.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks
As a Events Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting delivery of strategic outcomes for the Security and Policing event
- Leading efforts to deliver an Immersive Experience at the Security and Policing event, including stakeholder management across stand and content suppliers, industry providing solutions and policy and operational stakeholders in HMG.
- Ensuring strategic alignment with programmes in place for Ministers/Senior Officials attending the event.
- Contributing to and, where required, leading on briefing and drafting for Ministers/Seniors officials.
- Assessing strategic outcomes for the event and supporting efforts to deliver these, including promoting the UK Security Sector to HMG and showcasing the JSaRC Market
- Taking the engagement and activities delivered at the event and continuing to work with stakeholders to ensure that JSaRC outcomes are both strategically aligned to and have specific activity on post event work.
- This will include considering how best to use engagements from Ministers/senior officials at the event to set BAU activity for JSaRC in the coming year, enhancing work on the Immersive Experience to truly showcase capability throughout the year and supporting Market Intelligence Model work to drive the showcasing of solutions to HMG partners.
Essential:
- Knowledge of the UK Resilience and/or Security sectors
• Experience of working in or with HMG.
• Managing complex stakeholders and suppliers.
• Managing events/projects supporting a broader strategic aim
• Briefing/drafting to Ministers/Senior Officials.
• Experience in Security Sector/ Home Office priorities/ Security and Policing Events
