On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Project Planner (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in Bristol.

The work really matters; the MOD offers a range of engaging roles which have a direct impact on the quality of services they provide, in many locations across the UK. We support teams working in HR, Primary Health Care, Corporate Services, and many others.
As a Project Planner, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Support the on-boarding of suppliers onto the Performance & Relationship Management Scorecard and associated systems – outreach to Delivery Agents including Defence Equipment & Support, Submarine Delivery Agency, Defence Digital and Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
- Work with Strategic Partnering Managers (SPM) (Grade 6)/Assistant SPMs (Grade 7) and Strategic Suppliers to manage the completion of Performance Management Scorecard; lead analysis of the data and coordination of the feedback at both the tactical and strategic level.
- Support analysis of the Annual Review process with our SPP suppliers, this includes analysis of often large and complex data sets, creation of slide packs and presenting the outcomes back to the supplier. Continue ongoing work to streamline the process and collaborate with the Cabinet Office.
- Support the production of supplier intelligence briefs, in collaboration with SPMs.
- Support engagement with Cabinet Office and wider Government stakeholders to share best practice related to the Scorecard, Annual Review and other processes and initiatives.
- Support strategic level engagement and communications with suppliers, MOD departments, OGDs and Government officials up to and including ministerial level.
Essential:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly share ideas and information with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player, able to work effectively within a close-knit team environment.
- Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and summarise information to support decision-making.
- Experience in supplier management, with some exposure to supplier management systems and processes.
- SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Desirable:
- Basic understanding of/some expeirence using Power BI.
