AMS PSR

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Commercial Lead (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month hybrid contract based in Bristol or Newport.

As a Commercial Lead, your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead and manage commercial processes end-to-end, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
• Review and interpret terms and conditions, providing clear guidance and identifying risks.
• Support webinars and stakeholder engagement activities to embed new processes effectively
• Collaborate with category management teams and scale up engagement with buyers and suppliers
• Drive procurement planning and framework development, ensuring readiness for future cycles.
• Provide clear status reporting, highlighting progress vs. plan, decisions needed, and next steps

Essential:

• Strong commercial background with hands-on experience in procurement processes.
• Ability to work within a commercial environment and understand governance and compliance.
• Experience in reviewing and shaping policy documents and contractual terms.
• Familiarity with PA23 and associated frameworks.
• Proven ability to embed new processes and add value to existing teams
• Exposure to transport and/or technology sectors

Desirable:

• Experience in major transport organisations or similar complex environments.
• MCIPS qualification
• Exposure to transport and/or technology sectors-highly desirable
• Experience of using e sourcing platforms
