On behalf of NRS, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a 24 month contract based full- time on site Monday -Thursday, Hinkley Point A, Bridgwater.
As a Senior Project Manager , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Establish a vision and strategy to positively direct a team in the achievement of common goals and overall organisational objectives and benefits.
- Ensure the safe delivery of a project to time, cost and quality with responsibility for leading the project to a successful conclusion.
- Take personal responsibility for the consistent application and standards of project procedures.
- Provide leadership, management, and governance to ensure projects meet specified requirements.
- Delivery of projects and programmes within a contractual framework operating with processes to ensure legal and contractual compliance in conjunction with the responsible Commercial Manager.
- Establish and verify delivery programme baselines and operate project control processes (requirements capture, planning, cost, risk, trend analysis and change control).
Essential:
- Educated to Degree level / holds professional qualification in a relevant discipline (essential).
- A recognised project management professional qualification e.g., APM PMQ Project Management
- Experience of delivering major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in a highly regulated industry from concept to completion
- Experience in managing own workload and schedule
- Proactive communicator both internally and externally to the project
Desirable:
- Experience in NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
- Safety Leadership qualification, e.g., SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent
- Full working knowledge and experience of implementing CDM regulations
