On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Estates and System Manager for a 12 month (Inside IR35) based hybrid in Birmingham, Blackpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Pontypridd, Sheffield .

Based in the ESMA function within the Estates Directorate, this role will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the Data, Systems & Reporting Workstream within the Workplace Services Programme (WPS).
The DSR Workstream is responsible for establishing and assuring the DWP Estates business requirements to inform system design and implementation.
As a Estates and System Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Be custodian of the DSR Workstream RAID Log. Liaise with the DSR team to capture and report risks and issues arising in relation to systems design and implementation, including assumptions and dependencies on other WPS cross-cutting workstreams.
- Be custodian of the Integrator plan from WPS DSR Team perspective, (including dependencies on other WPS programme workstreams and DWP Business functions)
- Have oversight of the WPS DSR team tasks and activities to deliver the planned outcomes, clear identification and reporting of pressure points and resource constraints.
- Contribute to all aspects of the project planning and delivery, which will include the development, delivery and updating of project activities and reporting on any deviations to the DSR Workstream Lead.
- Provide analysis and impacting of potential problems that may affect the DSR workstream outcomes in the near and foreseeable future. Ability to relay impacting to senior stakeholders for the DSR workstream and provide a critical path analysis that impacts planned project deliverables including mitigations (in consultation with the DSR workstream and KBR).
- Coordinate with other WPS programme workstreams (Mobilisation, Exit and Workstream leads, KBR) and the DSR team to enable the successful delivery of the Data, Systems and Reporting planned tasks and activities.
Essential:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven record of establishing, building, and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders and across functional and organisational boundaries.
- Experience of maintaining and tracking detailed project activities and dependencies in a complex delivery group / change programme.
- Working knowledge of Estates and Facilities Management
- Ability to brief stakeholders succinctly on often complicated systems and workflow subject areas.
- Strong experience of interpretation and analysis of data to inform decision making.
- Commercial awareness and astuteness connected with contractual obligations and interpretation of contract Statement of Requirement deliverables; ability to interpret complex contract Statement of Requirements for the six new DWP Estates WPS supplier contracts.
