On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Estates and System Support Officer for a 12 month (Inside IR35) based hybrid in Birmingham, Blackpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Pontypridd, Sheffield .

Based in the ESMA function within the Estates Directorate, this role will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the Data, Systems & Reporting Workstream within the Workplace Services Programme (WPS).
The DSR Workstream is responsible for establishing and assuring the DWP Estates business requirements to inform system design and implementation.
As a Estates and System Support Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the DSR Workstream are co-ordinated and aligned with the Integrator plan and WPS plan. You will support the DSR Workstream, working closely with DSR Senior Project Support Manager and the DSR Workstream Lead to provide clarity on planned workstream activities, including assumptions, dependencies and business procedures that are in progress to ensure planned outcomes can be achieved within specified milestone dates.
- Support the DSR Workstream with ensuring internal and external stakeholder coordination and readiness ahead of mobilisation working group sessions i.e. pre-read material issued in a timely manner that affords the stakeholders time to review / feedback.
- Responsible for designing and managing a register of Data, System & Reporting team documents and interdependencies between the documents.
- Responsible for liaising with other WPS Working Groups to align tasks and activities where there are interdependencies between the DSR Workstream and other WPS workstreams to manage and track progress against the interdependencies and inform any deviation to DSR Workstream outcomes, particullarly those described within the KBR plan, WPS plan and DSR Digital plan.
- Support the Senior Project Support Manager to challenge and test WPS workstream assumptions to ensure that activities and plans are realistic and achievable.
- Support the DSR Workstream with chasing artefacts required to be provided by other WPS workstreams and DWP Business Functions, to enable KBR to develop, test and implement the system design requirements.
Essential:
- Some experience and knowledge of Programme/Project delivery.
- Working knowledge of Estates and Facilities Management
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to articulate solutions to the team and wider stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with the suite of MS Office products, including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
